dr. R.M. Aguilar Bolivar (Rosa)

Rosa Aguilar is gediplomeerd Computersysteem ingenieur aan de Lisandro Alvarado Universiteit in Venezuela. Ze bezit ook twee master degrees in Computerwetenschappen en Geo-informatica van respectievelijk de Simon Bolivar Universiteit in Venezuela en de Universiteit Twente in Nederland.

Voor haar aanvang als PhD-onderzoeker bij het ITC aan de Universiteit Twente werkte ze als Chief Technical Officer aan het Geografisch Instituut van Venezuela. Daarvoor deed ze praktijkervaring op in geografische informatiesystemen (GIS), remote sensing analyses, ruimtelijke database-beheer en implementatie van Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) in the Instutute of Engeneering in Venezuela.
