Tom Veldkamp (1963) is sinds 27 november 2020 Rector Magnificus van de Universiteit Twente. Hij promoveerde aan Wageningen Universiteit en Researchcentrum, en werd aan die universiteit in 2002 benoemd tot hoogleraar Land Dynamics. In Wageningen was hij ook hoofd van het Landscape Centre en wetenschappelijk directeur van het Centre for Geo-Information and Remote Sensing. Lees meer op de website van het College van Bestuur.
