C.E. Weber - van der Ploeg (Carla)

Management Assistant Nonlinear Nanophotonics (NLNP)

Carla Weber has been working at the University of Twente since 1993. She started as a secretary at the university in the Supramolecular Chemistry and Technology group of Prof.dr.ir. David N. Reinhoudt. After ten years, she switched to the MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology, working as a management assistant for 15 years. From 2018 to 2026, she worked as a management assistant in the LPNO group of Prof.dr. Klaus J. Boller. Since 2020, she has worked as a management assistant in the NLNP group of Prof.dr.ir. David A.I. Marpaung. Besides her work for the LPNO and NLNP group, she worked as secretary of the Female Faculty Network Twente at the University of Twente from June 2018 to March 2023. In September 2026, she joined the ANP Department Board.
