Ik werk als doctoraal onderzoeker op het snijvlak van gerontologie en technologie. Mijn voornaamste onderzoeksinteresse richt zich op de ontwikkeling en implementatie van eHealth-technologieën die bijdragen aan zelfmanagement en zorginnovatie binnen een vergrijzende samenleving. Hierbij ligt mijn focus met name op het onderzoeken van innovaties ter ondersteuning van het langer zelfstandig thuis kunnen wonen van mensen met dementie.
In 2016 heb ik de Master Positieve Klinische Psychologie en Technologie aan de Universiteit Twente afgerond. Daarna werkte ik als docent in de Bacheloropleiding Psychologie en als junior onderzoeker voordat ik in augustus 2018 mijn promotieonderzoek startte binnen de vakgroep Psychologie, Gezondheid & Technologie. Naast mijn onderzoek begeleid ik afstudeerprojecten en heb ik les gegeven in vakken gericht op eHealth-ontwikkeling.
