Organisaties

Mijn onderzoek strekt zich uit over drie gebieden. Ten eerste draag ik bij aan het discours over de veranderende aard van werk en organiseren, door te theoretiseren hoe technologie nieuwe werkpraktijken faciliteert en medieert. Ten tweede werk ik aan het overbruggen van de kloof tussen computationele methoden en procestheorievorming, in het bijzonder het bevorderen van theoriegedreven analyse van digitale sporengegevens. Ten derde gebruik ik econometrische methoden om de bredere impact van de algoritmisering van de samenleving te beoordelen - bijvoorbeeld de dialectiek tussen datagestuurde bedrijfsinnovatie en werknemers- of consumentenrechten.
