Overzicht Onderzoek Onderwijs Projecten Media Contact
Het onderzoek en onderwijs van Lisette van Gemert richt zich op ontwerp, implementatie en evaluatie van technologie in de zorg om de kwaliteit van gezondheid en veiligheid te bevorderen. Het onderzoek is gericht op human-centered en value-driven technology en omvat 3 subthemaās: persuasieve technologie, participerend ontwerpen via social media en business modelling (implementatie).
Er wordt samengewerkt met de universiteit van Toronto (Dr. G. Eysenbach) en met de universiteit van Waterloo te Canada (via adjunct professor Van Gemert-Pijnen). Studenten kunnen bij deze universiteiten onderzoek uitvoeren.

Huidige onderzoeksprojecten
Het huidige onderzoek richt zich op technologische innovaties in de gezondheidszorg. Uitgangspunt is dat technologie een kwalitatieve en kosteneffectieve bijdrage moet leveren aan gezondheid en veiligheid. Dit betekent dat we in het onderzoek (en onderwijs) ingaan op de vraagstelling welke vormen van technologie acceptabel en geschikt zijn voor bepaalde doelgroepen om specifieke onderdelen van een werk- of zorgproces te ondersteunen. Het onderzoek richt zich op het ontwikkelen van generieke kennis waarbij we de studie van specifieke technologische toepassingen gebruiken als een casus. In het onderzoek gaat de aandacht uit naar het ontwerp van technologie, we onderzoeken welke kwaliteitseisen gebruikers aan een technologische innovatie stellen en we gaan na welke eisen een rol spelen bij de acceptatie van die technologische innovaties. Bij de implementatie richten we ons op de vraag hoe doelstellingen in de praktijk daadwerkelijk bereikt worden.
