Klaasjan Visscher hoogleraar op de leerstoel Innovatie in Hoger Onderwijs & Samenleving. Hij studeerde ‘Technische Bedrijfskunde’ en ‘Wijsbegeerte van Wetenschap, Technologie & Samenleving’ en promoveerde aan de Universiteit Twente. Klaasjan is een gepassioneerde docent en onderwijsvernieuwer. He werkt aan transdisciplinair onderwijs en bestudeert innovatieprocessen in organisaties, ecosystemen en de samenleving, in het bijzonder in het hoger onderwijs. Klaasjan heeft een Comenius teaching en senior fellowship gewonnen en heeft verschillende gefinancierde onderzoeks- en innovatieprojecten verworven. Zijn onderzoek is gepubliceerd in wetenschappelijke tijdschriften en boeken.

Klaasjan is wetenschappelijk directeur voor onderwijsinnovatie van het DesignLab en opleidingsdirecteur van de Transdisciplinary master-insert 'Shaping Responsible Futures', dat de Nederlandse Hogeronderwijspremie heeft gewonnen.
