Onderzoek
Léon analyzes and develops methods, concepts and technologies that support multi-stakeholder coordination in urban infrastructure management processes. His passion is to engage with practice while studying the uptake of new technologies, and tailoring information and visualization systems. Most recently his research focuses on the construction as well as the life cycle management of buried infrastructures such as cables and pipelines. This particular field is very challenging since the ownership of these assets is widely diffused, creating a very fragmented domain.
