Mark Schuuring is cardioloog (M.D., Ph.D., FESC, FEACVI, FHFA) bij het Medisch Spectrum Twente en onderzoeker bij de afdeling Biomedische Signalen en Systemen. Hij is gecertificeerd in CMR (niveau 3), TTE en TOE (Full; EACVI) en is alumnus van de Postdoctorale Cursus Hartfalen. Als (co)promotor van meerdere promovendi richt hij zich op eHealth en kunstmatige intelligentie in de cardiologie. Dr. Schuuring publiceerde meer dan 80 peer-reviewed artikelen, waaronder artikelen in European Heart Journal ā€“ Digital Health en European Journal of Heart Failure (H-index 23) en ontving verschillende subsidies (Nederlandse Federatie van Universitair Medische Centra, TKI-PPP Health Holland, Hartstichting , Amsterdam UMC en Stichting Hartcentrum Twente).
