dr.ir. R. Siebelink (Remco)

Remco Siebelink is an Assistant Professor of High-Tech Business Management. His research and teaching focus on identifying the leadership and governance approaches that enable firms to achieve near-term performance while preparing and transforming them for long-term survival and prosperity. He specialises in strategic and long-term planning in challenging business environments characterised by future uncertainty. In particular, his work examines how organisations design and pursue intertemporal strategies, align their activities with ecosystem partners, and leverage human behaviour, cognition, skills, and strategy tools to support the ongoing survival and prosperity of high-tech firms. He has developed advanced expertise in the innovative fsQCA method for complex business research and has received a Best Paper Award from experts in the field. Remco is regularly invited to contribute to interdisciplinary research projects, reflecting his recognised expertise across multiple domains. His work is guided by a commitment to societal impact and practical relevance. He has designed strategic processes and advised and trained national government bodies, the European Union, globally operating firms, and research consortia. His areas of interest include the high-tech, construction and energy, and healthcare industries.

Remco also chairs the Programme Committee (I)BA and the Bekader Alumni Association.
