Over mij

Mijn specifieke interesse gaat uit naar de relaties tussen design, technologie en maatschappij. Ik geef verschillende vakken over dit onderwerp in het Bachelor en Master programma van Industrial Design Engineering. Ik ben ook co√∂rdinator van de Mastertrack Human Technology Relations, (onderdeel van de Master Industrial Design Engineering) en ben expert in curriculum ontwikkeling voor de Design disciplines.

Mijn onderzoeksactiviteiten gaan over de vormgeving van mens-technologie relaties. Mijn onderzoeksaanpak richt zich op het combineren van Design Geschiedenis met Toekomst gericht ontwerpen op basis van Scenario Planning. Ik publiceer ook veel over Design Onderwijs en over het vormgeven van Innovatieve technologie, onderzteund door Visual Essays.

Recentelijk ben ik een project gestart over de toegevoegde waarde van Techniekfilosofie voor de ontwerppraktijk (en vice-versa); The Practical Turn in Philosophy of Technology.
